Gumbo Limbo is a beautiful and unique place to stay with a completely safe environment, although it lacks air conditioning except in the honeymoon suite. The friendly owners, Mike and Steve, make it feel like home, and the location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions. However, be prepared for potentially warm nights in the summer due to the absence of AC, and the road leading to the hotel can be challenging.

This resort is a hidden gem for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat immersed in nature. The hospitality provided by Mike and Steve truly made our stay memorable, and the spacious casitas offered delightful comfort. While the dining options were fantastic and satisfying, the location is what really stood out, being both tranquil and conveniently close to various attractions. One minor downside was that not having air conditioning wasn't a problem for us, but it might be a consideration for others.
